Having said that, the 2016 Equinox also features an optional navigation unit but it remains exclusively available for the LT and LTZ trims. Also, the 7-inch diagonal color touchscreen is now standard across all trims, unlike last year. As far as seating capacity is concerned, all of them have a similar count but Equinox can do it much more conveniently, thanks to its 2.7 inches and 3.1 inches wider 2nd-row legroom than the RAV4 and Escape respectively. The 2016 Equinox has been arranged with a cargo space that is 5.8 cu-ft less than the CR-V 2016 but it compensates for that with its 1.6 inches better 2nd-row legroom. But one can take a breath of relief as far as cargo capacity of 31.4cu-ft to 63.7 cu-ft is concerned. The same stays true for the heated front seats. In addition to that, the Equinox 2016 also impresses you with its automatic climate control inside the LTZ edition but disappoints at the same time with the downgraded manual climate control for the rest of the lineup. While the 2015 Equinox LTZ outclasses all of them with its capable 8-way power driver seat that has been surfaced with leather finishes just like its other seats in both rows. The 2016 Chevrolet Equinox interior is a space of sober cloth upholstery on offer for the manually adjustable seats of the L, LS, and LT configurations. But it comes to sheer range coverage, the Equinox has the audacity to stand supreme as it returns 90 miles, 55 miles, 24 miles better-combined range than the Escape, 2016 RAV4, and the 2016 CR-V respectively. Hit on the mileage and the 2016 Equinox lags behind the Honda CR-V on the highways by 2 MPG and by 3 MPG overall. And so does its AWD variant which further drops to 16/24/19 MPG while maintaining the power curve as it is. Having the Equinox FWD empowered by the 301 hp V6 engine allows you to tow more and have enhanced driving dynamics but all that comes at a cost of reduced fuel economy of 17/25/20 MPG in the city/highway/combined. And, the Equinox AWD, in the meantime, provides you that extra grip on the ground for advanced confidence but takes off the mileage to 20/29/23 MPG respectively. The 2016 Chevy Equinox MPG retains at 22/32/26 MPG in the city/highway/combined profiles with a peak range coverage of 601 miles and combined travel of 468 miles with a trio of 18.8-gallon fuel tank, FWD, and 182 hp I-4 engine. The LTZ is the last form of the Equinox that has been armed with Automatic climate control, Leather upholstery, Heated front seats, and 18-inch chromed alloy wheels for free at $29,740. The Equinox LT 2016 is the next one in the production belt with a price tag of $26,450 and has LED DRLs, Chevy's MyLink, and voice controls as additional specs over the lower trims. The 2015 Equinox LS MSRP of $25,210 takes the standard features list to the likes of the Stabilitrak, 6-speaker audio unit, and a 7-inch diagonal color touchscreen. The 2016 Chevrolet Equinox has 4 trims on offer among which the first one in the lineup is the L edition which costs $22,600 for 17-inch alloy wheels, Automatic headlights, and OnStar with 4G connectivity.
